Captain Joe Shabbott |
|
Capt. Joe has fished the Chesapeake Bay and Coastal Virginia for more than 17 years. Raised on fresh water, Joe got enthused with salt water fishing after joining the U.S. Army and spending time in Savannah, Georgia.
Since arriving in Virginia in 1992, Joe expanded his fishing experience and developed techniques that lead to catching some of the most exciting game fish along the mid-Atlantic coast, from the lower Chesapeake Bay to the canyons.
Capt. Joe retired from the Army after 30 years of service and purchased “Final Pursuit”. He spent several months painstakingly rigging her and developing Pursuit Sport Fishing.
Aboard “Final Pursuit” guests enjoy an exciting Day. The crew - starting with Capt. Joe - is committed to creating a memorable fishing experience.
Capt Joe Shabbott holds a USCG 50 Ton Master’s License and is a member of the Virginia Charter Boat Association.
